I don’t know about you, but I love a great nap. When I’m able to fit one in the middle of the day, it makes my evening much better, and sometimes, it even carries over till the next morning.

Of course, there is more to taking a nice nap than closing your eyes and sleeping for a few minutes. Just ask Nellie, the wiener dog. Her owner sees her taking a nap so often that she has even started an Instagram page about her!

Nellie’s human says that she may sleep anywhere, but her favorite spot is to stretch out and spend some time in the sunshine. She even calls her the “4 month old solar powered low rider and queen of sploots,” which is high praise for any dog.

The funny thing about Nellie is that she doesn’t need a lot of sun to stretch out for a snooze. All she really needs is a spot where some sunshine is shining and it’s game-on for nap time.

I think that most of us can relate to her love of a warm spot to sleep. I’ve been known to take a nap or two in a sunny location and it is always feeling great when I do.

Just the other day, Nellie found a great spot where she was completely engulfed in sunlight, but there wasn’t much shining anywhere else in the room. It seemed like it was custom-made for her.

Dad grabbed a picture and posted it on Reddit. It has gone viral for all the right reasons.
